Stella Maris

Stella Maris is the name of seafarers’ houses worldwide connected in the “Apostleship of the Sea” which celebrated its centenary in Glasgow in 2020, where it was founded in 1920. It is originally a Catholic organization that is affiliated with the ICMA (International Christian Maritime Association), which celebrated its golden jubilee in 2019. The inspiration comes from the Gospel, but the door is open to ALL seafarers.
